
Born and raised in Brazil, I moved to the United States in 2003. I practiced architecture until I embarked on the ceramics journey in 2005. I started with the wheel, which was love at first sight, producing utilitarians. Nevertheless, my pieces were almost always used as a canvas, reflecting my cultural influences from Brazil and my passion for the great painters. Later, I started using clay as a medium for sculptures, mostly done with a whimsical touch and passion for the absurd.
